Go underground! Enjoy a private tour of the architecturally storied Indianapolis City Market Catacombs! The Catacombs served as the basement area of the former Tomlinson Hall that sat at the northeast corner of Delaware and Market Streets. Though Tomlinson Hall tragically burned in 1958, it served as the "Market Square Arena" of its time, hosting political rallies, large city events and even global figures Teddy Roosevelt and Democratic Presidential nominee William Jennings Bryan.
Today, the Catacombs are rarely used, but unique art events, haunted houses and dance performances have been part of its recent past.
Expires: 2/16/2011; Tour must commence by 5:00pm.
