This question inevitably comes up every year so here is the DL...the SRES Regalia is indeed marketed as a "black tie optional" affair however don't fret if your wedding tux is a bit snug or you don't own one at all! While many of our attendees do choose to "rock a bow tie" we also have a number of gentlemen that simply wear their snappiest suit.
Ladies, this event is definitely LBD (little black dress) appropriate and/or feel free to use the night as an excuse to pick up a new dress!
This year we will have a Mardi Gras theme (masks need not be worn) so shades of purple, green and gold will be all the rage.
